A classic, European-styled, barrel-ferment Chardonnay that doesn’t show it: primary notes of Bosc pear, stone fruit and simple flowers (think honeysuckle, lily and jasmine). The midpalate aligns with the aromas on the nose and has a linear freshness that transitions to a more expressive mid-palate of Meyer lemon and a lemon curd creaminess on the back palate. The lanolin and mineral finish is elegant and long, setting this Tradition up to be the first Chardonnay of the night, but one that has the backbone and weight to harmonise with richer main-course dishes.
Aged 16-18 months in French oak (20-30%) new.
Residual Sugar: 3 g/L
100% Wild Fermentation
