2018 Pinot Noir Tradition (750ml)

  • Information sur le produit

Showcasing deeper dark-forest cherry, strawberries, blackberry, orange peel, and lemon zest waft up from the glass. Rose petals, tea leaves and some light wood nuances all gather to produce a complex bouquet. With more dark berry notes than our stunning Signature Pinot Noir, the Tradition offers some orange rind and a slight feel of “torrefaction” that makes the bouquet rich, full of indescribably decadent red fruit. The Pinot Noir Tradition’s lively, slatey-soft palate, and great purity harbours a lemony raspberry elegance that one might expect from a fine Réserve-level wine. Deep and long, a wine of great volume and style: Of Domaine Queylus’ stable of stunning beauties in this wonderful vintage, the Tradition is clearly the ‘deal’ pricewise. Mouth-watering, long and satisfying dark-fruited elegance on the finish. Though partially hidden by the ample fruit, tannins are still a bit gritty, and suggest that, while lovely now, the balance of the wine would benefit from short-to-medium-term stay in a cellar. Best from 2021 to 2026.
