The 2023 Chardonnay Tradition has an expressive nose with notes of Meyer lemon, crushed seashell, and a touch of chamomile tea. On the palate, the wine reflects the nose with crisp acidity that shifts to a layered mouthfeel on the mid-palate, bringing depth to this well-balanced style of Chardonnay. The mid-palate shows notes of yellow apple, starfruit, and nectarine, with a delicate hint of flaky pastry. This wine finishes with well-rounded acidity and continues to develop mid-palate notes through the finish, featuring the subtlest hint of integrated oak from long élevage in predominantly neutral French oak barrels.
